Dojo, Keikojo & Dokokai

Dōjō

In a Dōjō of the Hokushin Ittō-ryū Hyōhō one can learn the school completely. A Dōjō is led by a Shihan of the school who is licensed Menkyo or Menkyo-Kaiden and also received a Dōjō-Mokuroku, the license to open an own Dōjō.

 

Keikojō

A Keikojo is a fixed training group, which is led by a Shidōin (teacher) or Shihandai (beginning master), who either holds a Hatsu-Mokuroku or a Kajō-Mokuroku.

 

Dōkōkai

A Dōkōkai is a study group of the school which is led by students who are studying directly under the direction of the Sōke at the Honbu-Dōjō of the Hokushin Ittō-ryū Hyōhō.
